Now that I've graduated, I have spent a little bit of time in the real world, and it's not all it's cracked up to be.  In fact, compared to college, it can be downright depressing.

College Me, 6:30 AM: Force eyes open because my roomate is blow-drying her hair in the other room.  God, how does she get up so early?  I can't even function right now.
Real Life Me, 6:30 AM: BEEPBEEPBEEP. Time to get up for work.  God, I can't believe I'm getting up at this hour on a Saturday.  Yearn for the obligation-free days of college where I could sleep all day and nurse my throbbing, hangover head.

College Me, 10 AM:  Ugh.  Maybe I should get up.  Stumble to bathroom and take a shower while half asleep.  Knock on roomate's door and ask her if she is as hungry as I am, brunch at 11?  Let's be productive after brunch.
Real Life Me, 10 AM: At work, waiting tables.  Wish I was the person eating instead of the person serving.

College Me, 12 PM:  Done with brunch.  Hm.  Maybe I should do some homework. Nah.  That's what Sundays are for.
Real Life Me, 12 PM: Still at work.  Haven't eaten yet because we don't take breaks, unless you happen to smoke cigarettes.

College me, 1 PM:  Naptime!
Real Life me, 1 PM: Still at work.

College Me, 1:58 PM:  I should probably do some homework, but I'm still napping.
Real life me, 1:58 PM: Still at work.

College me, 4:00 PM:  What am I doing tonight?
Real life me, 4:00 PM:  Still collapsed on the couch from my waitressing shift.  Too tired to even move. At least I broke $100 today...

College me, 5:00 PM: Time to start drinking!
Real Life me, 5:00 PM:  Time to start drinking!

College me, 9:00 PM:  At the bar.
Real Life Me, 9:00 PM: Sleeping.
